Amine Umlil
CareerHolder of a Master’s degree (Master II) in Health Law from the Faculty of Law of Rennes and the School of Public Health (EHESP) in Rennes, Amine Umlil is also a Doctor of Pharmacy. He is a former resident of the University Hospital Centers (CHU) of Toulouse and a former student at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Angers. His additional qualifications include: a specialized postgraduate diploma (DES) in Industrial and Biomedical Pharmacy (Toulouse), a university diploma (DU) in Medical-Surgical Pathology (Angers), a DU in Pharmacokinetics (Toulouse), an interuniversity diploma (DIU) in Antibiology and other Anti-Infective Treatments (Poitiers), a DIU in Applied Statistics in Medicine – Clinical Research, Epidemiology, Biology – (Paris), a degree in Biological and Medical Sciences (Angers), a DU in Business Management (Toulouse), and a Certificate in Information Technology and Internet (Angers). Amine Umlil has published in various scientific journals and has taught in nursing training institutes. He practiced for more than 20 years as a hospital pharmacist and hospital practitioner. His expertise has notably been sought by the Parliamentary Office for the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Choices. He is a member of the French Association of Health Law.

• Avoidable iatrogenesis: medication errors and preventable adverse effects linked to organizational failures
• Regulatory health vigilance, notably pharmacovigilance and materiovigilance
• Disciplinary proceedings before professional bodies such as the Medical Council and the Pharmacists’ Council
• Disciplinary proceedings before the National Management Centre (CNG) for hospital practitioners and directors of public healthcare institutions
• Proceedings before administrative courts (administrative tribunals and administrative courts of appeal) and judicial courts (criminal and civil)
• Proceedings before the National Office for Compensation of Medical Accidents (ONIAM)
